Cuvantul chiffon provine din franceza si reprezinta un material facut din bumbac, matase sau fibre sintetice. Din fibre naturale poate fi vopsit aproape in toate nuantele, insa cu dificultate materialele sintetice. -sursa foto- Chiar daca nu va faceti singuri dupa vreun model, mie mi-ar placea un model vintage , cand este cusut chiffonul, multi croitori pun strat de hartie intre doua de material pentru a fi cusute impreuna. Ca regula generala, trebuie cusut incet sau se va increti. Asa cum se lucreaza greu cu tesatura pe atat de usor se destrama.
